My club shares and operates out of the same boathouse as another club. How do sub-organizations work?
Sub-organization is an organizational membership type option for teams that have a listed parent organization with a current membership and insurance coverage provided by USRowing’s insurance program. If the sub-organization would like to share the insurance coverage with their parent organization but compete as a separate team from their parent organization, the Sub-Organization membership type can be used to share the coverage already purchased. The combined number of athletes between the parent organization and all connected Sub-Organizations may never exceed the maximum roster limit of the coverage purchased by the parent organization. In addition, individual members of all programs are required to have USRowing individual memberships in order to be covered.
